MBRP light guard
Looks great with the factory bumper. Very sturdy fit. Took an hour to install. Would recommend to friends. Now I need to get a set of lights to really beef up the front 😉

This bar is the way to go!!!!
If you don't want to replace the factory bumper on your jeep but still want a the ability to have a bar / off road lights then this is the thing to get. My ordered arrived promptly and without issue. All the parts were included and in great condition. I had a friend install this on my 2011 Jeep and they didn't have any problems. I would definitely recommend this!

Beautiful looking light bar. Not designed to be a Grill guard, well, maybe a grill guard for bugs, but that's about it.

I purchased this for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Overall, I am happy with it. It's a bit tedious to install and really takes some fine tuning to get it installed correctly.
2 things to mention right off the top. In the new Jeeps you need to get the MBRP 132032 Vacuum Pump Relocation Kit. There is no getting around it. You have to get it.(A few other companies make relocation kits too, but I used the one I listed in this review) And It's not the easiest thing in the world to install. You have to cut away a very thick piece off metal that is part of the original bracket in order to get this installed. If you're not handy with creative projects, this will be a very difficult install for you. You'll need a dremel or cutting wheel to successfully cut the original bracket. Just an FYI.
Secondly, I read somewhere someone asking if this bar/grill guard would protect the front end if you were to hit a deer or something to that effect. The answer is NO. The bar mounts to with some sturdy metal brackets, bit is no where designed to take an impact. I'm certain if I took 5 steps back and put my shoulder very aggressively into this bar I would bend it back right into the front grill. A deer or other impact would obliterate this light bar, well, not the light bar itself, but the brackets that hold it up. It should be considered a light bar and light bar only. A very cool looking light bar, but only a light bar nonetheless.
Once installed, I think it's great. It has holes and grommets designed to run the lights wires so you don't see them, which I think is exceptional. The finish seems to be pretty good, I'll update if I have issues in the future once winter sets in. Mine had a few chips at the base, so I used some black touch up paint to cover it to ensure I didn't get rust.
Overall, it looks really cool and in my opinion that's what it's designed to do. It holds the lights exceptionally well. It's a difficult project for the average guy at his house, but if you know your way around a garage you'll be able to figure it out. This is why I gave my review 4 stars. Difficulty on install.
